
John is Of Counsel to the firm and also serves as legal counsel to the NJPSA representing its members in a variety of disputes. John brings the perspective of a former educator and public school administrator of over 25 years, where he worked in the positions of mathematics teacher, vice principal, and high school principal. During much of this time, John served as the president of his local bargaining association and served for more than a decade on the Board of Education in his hometown. In 2017, John was recognized by the NJPSA as the New Jersey Visionary Secondary School Principal of the Year. Since retiring from public education, John has represented NJPSA school administrators in variety of matters that touch and concern their public employment, including advising collective bargaining associations with labor and contract matters, as well as other education-related, employment matters before State Agencies and the courts. In 2016, John received the Richard J. Nichols, Ed. D. Award from Kean University for his support of student teachers placed at Rahway High School. In addition, he received the 2017 Community Service Award from the Rahway Chapter of the N.A.A.C.P. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include running, biking, fishing, traveling, and music.
